Families enjoy community events near Newport Coast homesAs spring emerges, there are more and more events available to those who call Newport Coast home. At Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort and Marina, several events are coming up in April. These include an Easter Egg Hunt on April 16th, and Stand up for the Cure on April 30th.

Th annual Easter Egg Hunt is finally back this year. Children of all ages who call Newport Coast home are invited to participate. Be sure to bring your Easter baskets from home so that your children can collect as many eggs as possible. The hunt is organized by age groups, so the little ones can have their own hunt. This event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the resort.

Stand up for the Cure had to be virtual last year, but this year it’s back in person. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Even when this event was virtual, it raised $75,000 for Susan G. Komen Stand Up Against Cancer. Individuals or groups can register to enjoy a great day on the Back Bay to help raise money for this worthy cause.

Registered participants receive lunch, happy hour, live music, and more benefits hanging out at Newport Dunes. In addition, participants receive a free SUP jersey, free health screenings, free lessons with local pros, and entry to fun races for the whole family. Everyone is also invited to take part in the silent auction and purchase raffle tickets with terrific prizes.
