After the race and breakfast comes the parade beginning at 10 a.m. Find a good spot along the route in downtown Huntington Beach. Be prepared to be wowed, as this is the biggest Independence Parade west of the Mississippi. Enjoy the music of bands, cheer on the elaborate floats, wave to local dignitaries, community groups, and celebrities, and watch your children’s eyes light up when they see horses coming.

End your day with fireworks. Head to the Huntington Beach Pier to get the best view.
