Among the many great perks of living in coastal Orange County are great weather and beautiful parks. Celebrate the end of summer with outdoor events, sponsored by the city of Newport Beach. The first event is a movie in the park on Friday, August 20th. Frozen II will be screened starting at 7 p.m. at Bonita Canyon Park, located at 1990 Ford Road, convenient to most coastal Orange County homes. Gather up your kids, pack some snacks, drinks and beach chairs, and enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors. This is a free event. There will be another movie in the park on Friday, September 10th. Everyone Living in Coastal Orange County Loves Concerts on the Green
For music buffs living in coastal Orange County, the summer Concerts on the Green series is always a summer highlight. The next concert in the series will feature DSB, a Journey tribute band. Head to Civic Green, at 100 Civic Center Drive. The concert starts at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22nd. The event is free, and seating is on a first come, first served basis. Feel free to bring your own low beach chair, as well as your favorite snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Or take the night off from cooking and get dinner at one of the food trucks that will be on site. Barcelona On the Go offers tasty Spanish-inspired sandwiches, quesadillas, and other main courses. Get dessert at Sugar n’ Spice: the Original Frozen Banana. The next Concert on the Green will be on Sunday, September 26th, featuring SantanWays, a Santana tribute band.
