When you walk through Sherman Gardens, you can see amazing and unique plants, interesting exhibits, and wildlife. Many events are also available throughout the year. The next available event is a Family Tour of Sherman Gardens that will take place on Saturday, November 6th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A docent will lead the tour, which is free with garden admission. Advance registration is required. Be sure to register early to claim a spot. 

The Garden Cafe Is a Perfect Place to Meet Friends Near Your Orange County Home

The price for non-members to visit the gardens is $5 per person for those ages four and over. Members and children three and under are free. Members do not need to make an advance reservation to visit the gardens, but non-members do. The cost for a membership is $20 for students, $40 for seniors, $60 for a general membership, and $75 for a family. There are many benefits to having a membership, such as unlimited free admission, reduced fees for classes and programs, a 15% discount in the Garden Shop, and invitations to lectures and events. 

Sherman Gardens is a great place to get ideas for the yard at your coastal Orange County home. The gardens are extensive and include a formal garden, tropical conservatory, shade garden, tea garden, succulent garden, and a central garden. Leave with some fresh ideas to add some new elements to your yard. A cafe is also available on the grounds. It’s open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays for brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food served at the restaurant utilizes produce from the gardens and from local farms. Seasonal ingredients are highlighted and having lunch at Cultivar includes lovely views of the garden.
