Good times come to those living in coastal Orange County with the Scottish FestivalEveryone living in coastal Orange County is invited to dig out their kilts, or just wear regular clothes, and come to Scottish Fest. This event returns in person this year May 28-29, 2022 at the Orange County Fair and Event Center. The gate opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday and closes at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the gate is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This annual event takes place every Memorial Day weekend and is full of fun for the whole family. This is Southern California’s largest Celtic, Scottish, and American Festival.

Over the two days of the festival, everyone living in coastal Orange County is invited to experience Celtic music, piping, and drumming competitions. In addition, there will be Highland dancing contests, Scottish heavy athletics, Scottish clans and genealogy, and Scottish foods and gifts. Adults are also invited to sign up for a whisky tasting or whisky tasting educational class. For the kids, the children’s glen will be available to provide fun and attractions during the festival.

Tickets are available now. For a limited time, you can order tickets online and receive $5 off adult and senior prices. At the gate, one day admission is $30 for adults, $26 for seniors, and $5 for children. At the gate two day admission is $40 for adults, $32 for seniors, and $6 for children. Adults are ages 13-61, seniors are ages 62 and up, and children are ages 5-12. Children four and under are free. The schedule is jam packed and there will be many events and attractions to enjoy at the festival.
