The Tet Festival is coming to the area near Newport Beach homes. Tet, which is short for Tet Nguyen Dan is the Vietnamese New Year. The most important holiday in Vietnamese culture, it celebrates the arrival of spring. During this time, families reunite and enjoy being together. It’s a time to forget about the troubles of the past year and look forward to the coming year. This festival has been going on in Southern California since 1982, making this its 40th year. The event has grown and changed locations a few times. This year, the Tet Festival will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa.
