This event will take place on Saturday, October 26th, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grant Howald Park, which is located at 3000 Fifth Ave. in Corona del Mar. Don’t forget to grab a container for collecting candy before leaving your Newport Beach home to gather candy from the trunk or treat. Learn About Businesses and Community Groups Near Your Newport Beach Home
The deadline for registering a vehicle has passed, but local businesses and organizations are invited to keep this event in mind for next year. It is a great way to showcase what you do in the community. Chat with families, hand out fliers or business cards, and help children have a safe and fun time. Those who participate are encouraged to come up with activities or challenges for children to complete to receive their candy. Costumes are also encouraged, and know that this event will take place rain or shine, so plan accordingly.
Families are also invited to spend some time exploring Grant Howald Park while at the event. There are playgrounds for both older and younger kids, a grill and picnic tables, and lots of grass. The park is located next to a community center as well as along a bike trail. It is easy to walk here if your Newport Beach real estate is close by and it is also easy to walk to shops in Corona Del Mar. There are plenty of hills to run up and down or to roll down and the surrounding nature park is a nice place to check out. Read more about the Halloween Spooktacular and follow the event on Facebook.
